Dina Meyer was born in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, but moved to Dix Hills, Long Island, just before her last year in junior high school. Her siblings include one of whom is older, named Gregory as well as a younger sibling named Evan. When she was nine until 16, she began working in the industry of entertainment by acting. Ron Stetson was her teacher at The Neighborhood Playhouse where she started studying Sanford Meisner's acting techniques for three years. Others who have received this education include Sandra Bullock, Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum, Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton, among others. The first film she appeared in was Beverly Hills 90210 which forced her to relocate to Los Angeles. She was cast as the lead lady on Johnny Mnemonic in which she performed almost all her stunts herself, and established herself as a skilled actress. Through her agent who also is the representative of Matt LeBlanc she scored a part as a guest on Friends.
