Also called Mr. Capalot or Polo Capalot the ace rapper from Chicago Illinois, started gaining popularity after he released songs on YouTube. His first tracks were The Come Up and never Cared. The rapper made his SoundCloud debut with OFFICIAL polo.g SoundCloud. Gang With Me, his debut single, quickly followed by the smash hit track The Finer Things. It was composed during his time in prison. It became his most popular single, and millions viewers watched it on YouTube. It put him into the spotlight. Soon major record labels started taking notice of his work. Pop Out with Lil Tjay is the first single to be released under Columbia Records' distribution contract. It received millions of views on YouTube and reached the top spot of 22 on the Billboard Hot 100 marking the first charting song of the artist. Polo G was a YouTube sensation and gained a good amount of popularity through other social media sites such as Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
